The birth of Custom-Qamis

In March 2013 the founder, Alexandre Mimoun El Mechouri, left the United Arab Emirates to launch his tailor-made custom qamis export shop in France. He wanted to make available to Muslims everywhere the professional, tailor-made craftsmanship that at that time was only available in Arab countries.
With time, Custom-Qamis developed into the qamis design leader that it is today. Now with customers all over the world, the goal of expanding access to professional qamis tailoring for Muslims has been achieved. The store has been a great success.

The reasons for launching Custom-Qamis

What drove our founder, Alexandre, to launch Custom-Qamis was observing the difficulty many Muslim men had in getting their hands on tailored qamis in France and the European continent.

Before Custom-Qamis, too many Muslim men had grown accustomed to the lack of choices in colors, sizes, and styles. Alexandre worked to popularize the idea of customization and made it available to the Muslim community in France.
